Boost your self-esteem with micropigmentation
“My lip is well-defined, which is exactly what I wanted, because the cold sores I’d had in the past had left my lip disfigured.” (Laura Abenia Badia)
“I’ve always been self-conscious about my lips. Thank you, Ana, for your work—you’ve changed my life.” (Lea Alcover)
“Ana Paula has performed three procedures on me (lips, eyes, eyebrows), all of which I would rate as excellent; especially the lip procedure—she had to correct a previous tattoo done by another professional years ago that was in very poor condition, and she added a natural shade.” (Dolors Avila)
All of these reviews—which are 100% genuine (you can read them in our studio’s Google reviews)—show that our micropigmentation work goes far beyond a simple cosmetic procedure.
Many people, especially before they learn about our work, think that what we do is unnecessary or excessive. That it merely caters to the vain desires of some women. They couldn't be more wrong!
Over the years, our bodies accumulate wonderful experiences, but they also undergo changes and transformations that we don’t always feel comfortable with. These changes can undermine our confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth, because they distance us from the image we once had of ourselves and leave us burdened with insecurities that aren’t our own.
Many of our clients come to Landi Studio through word of mouth, recommended by clients who have had a positive experience resolving aesthetic concerns. Our professionals’ skilled hands can transform problems into solutions and enhance or camouflage asymmetries, discoloration, scars, hair loss, or blemishes, restoring our features’ lost radiance.
It’s also common for women who come to our studio to be surprised by how easy it is to correct or resolve an issue; they’re grateful they found us, and sometimes they “regret” not having taken the plunge sooner. Some of these doubts likely stem from the malpractice that occurred not so long ago with more aggressive or permanent techniques, but micropigmentation is a minimally invasive, reversible, and delicate technique that, when performed correctly, allows you to make the most of your lips, eyebrows, and eyes, framing your face and giving it a younger, fresher, and more radiant appearance.
Part of this renewed self-confidence stems from the fact that all our treatments result in a 100% natural look; our friends and loved ones will see us looking our best, with a very flattering appearance, but they won’t know why.
For all these reasons and many more, micropigmentation is the perfect solution for boosting self-esteem. Let’s take a look at everything you can achieve with this technique, which we at Landi Studio perform in a highly personalized, professional, and delicate manner.
Poorly performed micropigmentation procedures
We often see clients who come to us to fix poorly done permanent makeup that has resulted in asymmetry, uneven colors, overly intense shades, or poorly executed lines. Our team specializes in improving and correcting these permanent makeup results.
Cleft lip
A cleft lip is a cleft or gap in the upper lip. It is a relatively common birth defect. Traditionally, people with this condition might have developed a complex because the cleft lip leaves a permanent scar on the upper lip. Thanks to micropigmentation, we can even out the skin tone (which is paler at the scar site), restore lost symmetry, define the contours, and generally give these individuals’ mouths an appearance very similar to that of someone without this birth defect.
Scars
Cold sores, acne, minor cuts… there are many reasons why we might end up with small scars around the lips or eyes. These scars can be significantly improved, made to disappear, or made less noticeable thanks to the micropigmentation technique.
Vitiligo
Vitiligo is a skin condition of unknown cause characterized by the presence of white patches resulting from a lack of pigmentation. Sometimes, vitiligo affects only the lip area, making lip micropigmentation an ideal solution for restoring the lips’ pre-vitiligo appearance—or even enhancing it.
Asymmetries
Another feature that can make someone self-conscious is asymmetry in the lips or eyes; we know that beauty lies, in large part, in symmetry. And thanks to micropigmentation, we can give our lips or eyes a more symmetrical appearance, while also highlighting their unique qualities.
Discoloration
Our skin tone is never completely even. Sometimes certain areas lose their color due to sun exposure, friction, or even prolonged use of cosmetics that aren’t compatible with our skin. In these cases, once again, micropigmentation is our best ally for evening out our skin tone and making discoloration invisible.
