Lip Microblading, Nude Color Process

Did you know that micropigmentation is a procedure that dates back to ancient times? This is evidenced by the earliest findings of pigment residues on human remains, which are more than 400,000 years old.

The earliest pigments used were of biological origin—such as plants or insects—or mineral origin, and their use served various purposes (religious, cultural, etc.). They were produced using homemade tools made from materials like bone or wood. Obviously, neither the hygienic conditions nor the results achieved at that time were ideal.

The precursors to today's techniques were the Asians, who used bamboo sticks with embedded needles to deposit pigments into the skin. But it wasn’t until the 19th century that the first tattoo machine was invented, and it wasn’t until well into the 20th century that the development of micropigmentation as we know it today began, originally used in medical centers to correct imperfections associated with diseases or injuries.

Gone are those primitive, rudimentary, and painful techniques, which over time have given way to more modern methods performed with innovative dermographs and utilizing more than 80 shades of natural, hypoallergenic, and completely safe pigments. Current techniques allow pigments to be deposited into the dermis in a controlled and meticulous manner, delivering spectacular results that bear no resemblance to those of primitive man.

When it comes to lip micropigmentation, at Landi Studio we exclusively use the Nude Color Process technique, developed by Ana Paula Landi, the founder of our studio and an expert in natural micropigmentation.

Natural lip micropigmentation involves implanting bioabsorbable mineral pigments (which can be safely absorbed by the skin) into the subepidermis of the lips—that is, the layer beneath the outer layer of the lips. To do this, we use a high-precision micro-needle in a process that is more delicate than the one used for tattooing. Thanks to this process, we achieve well-defined, symmetrical, and natural-looking lips.

We achieve our exclusive Nude Color Process by applying pigments that mimic the natural shade of your lips using a dermograph. These pigments are not always the same; rather, they are customized individually for each treatment. Each person’s original lip color, skin tone, preferences, and, of course, expectations will determine the pigments chosen in each case. This is because the lips of someone with very fair skin are not the same as those of someone with very dark skin; nor are thin, elongated lips treated the same way as full, voluminous lips, for example.

In all these cases, Landi Studio’s exclusive Nude Color Process results in naturally contoured, enhanced, symmetrical, and full lips.

What is a natural micropigmentation session like?

Have you ever wondered what our lip micropigmentation sessions are like? All our sessions begin with a consultation during which the client explains the results she is looking for, allowing us to tailor the procedure to her expectations. Next, we’ll create a preliminary sketch that will serve as the basis for our work: we’ll correct imperfections, asymmetries, and even scars, and restore your lips’ lost contour, color, and shape. This preliminary sketch will follow your natural lip line, allowing us to fill in the lips up to 1 millimeter beyond their natural border for an even more striking result.

Next, we will select the color to be applied with the dermograph, taking into account skin tone, natural lip color, and each person’s preferences. The Nude Color Process is characterized by the use of light, natural shades that visibly enhance the appearance of the lips without making them look artificial.

The lip micropigmentation session lasts about an hour and is performed using topical anesthesia, making it a completely painless procedure. Afterward, you’ll have lips that, in the hands of our expert professionals, will have corrected asymmetries, color differences, and aspects of your lip shape that you didn’t like, and will even give the appearance of greater volume and fullness.

Your beauty is unique

Our exclusive Nude Color Process lip micropigmentation enhances every woman’s natural beauty, helping her become more aware of her natural features and bringing them out. This allows us to create the optical illusion of fuller lips on thin lips, a harmonious lip tone, and lips with a well-defined contour.

In addition, the Nude Color Process can correct small scars, asymmetries, or imperfections, providing a rejuvenated appearance that eliminates the need for lipstick. And for more delicate cases, such as those involving loss of pigmentation (vitiligo, albinism), it also results in a symmetrical, rejuvenated, and significantly improved appearance.

Our secret: our team

Our studio is made up of a team passionate about natural, timeless, and unpretentious beauty. A team that approaches simplicity with meticulous attention to detail, using micropigmentation to enhance every woman’s beauty in the most natural way possible, always respecting her essence and features.
